United in Utopia

"Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness,

united in utopia...

...with liberty, justice and abundance for all."

The Vision for is for each member of the community to thrive in all three dimensions: body, mind and spirit.

Meeting in homes across America and forming interdependent groups, we barter and trade as precursors to living together in interdependent lifestyles in actual, physical communities that we one day build together.

Not mere survivors, we are thrivorsomni-faith, humanitarians who foster friendship, fellowship and freedom  for the family of man, regardless of race, religion, political party or income bracket.  We believe in life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness in abundance for all.  We thrive when we help others to THRIVE as well.  Not equally poor, but equally rich.

Other groups have tried to find unity by eliminating any words or ideas that might offend.  We, in contrast, have a commitment to never be offended, but to embrace any positive idea that seeks to uplift and strengthen earth, world and mankind in all three dimensions: body, mind and spirit.

Gifting Governance for the Greatest Global Good.

I believe we can change the world but we must unite to create an unstoppable force.

Nothing divides an army better than pursuing an undefined, subjective evil that can be debated and disputed from here to eternity. As the true evil escalates around us in every imaginable form, we must unite to create a force for good in response, a protective army that protects others against the schemes of the corrupt, the army who plans ahead with inspired strategies to overcome true evil with love.

This army is not made up of Christian or Jew, Mormon or Muslim, Conservative or Liberal, Democrat or Republican, Communist or Socialist or Capitalist. This powerful army is made up of you and me and the millions of caring humanitarians who want to return to natural, loving principles that sees to it that every man, woman and child THRIVES.

I believe that there is a God that seeks the highest and best for all.  The God I serve doesn't encourage us to fight over ideology or doctrine. That fight is nothing but a diversion to divide and conquer the army of God.

My cause is to stand against true evil with pure love.  When an individual or a group of individuals take pleasure in causing another person intentional suffering, love dictates that we make it stop.

We see this evil creeping all over the world as planned corruption perpetuates the starvation of millions of people who have been rendered powerless to rise above it without intervention.

We see it as women and children are taken as slaves into the human trafficking rings for the profit of those who oppress them.

We see evil in its truest form as filmmakers use their art and expertise to produce films of stolen children in the act of sexual exploitation in order to satisfy the insatiable appetite of the pornography addicts they have intentionally created.

We see it when parents are willing to strap bombs on their child in order to murder as many people as possible with the investment of their own flesh and blood.

We hear about atrocities in far away places when grown men are willing to maim and mutilate women and children in retaliation and revenge to intimidate their enemies. This is the true evil that the army of God is equipped to stand against and will soon annihilate completely.

Evil will be overcome by good. Of that there is no doubt. Victory will come when you and I understand who our true enemy is and combine with those who hate that same enemy. '

As evil as some ideologies seem to be when they oppose our own beliefs, we all know that most of them, whether democrat or republican, Jew or Christian, would never consider offering a child to a customer-base of perverts and auction that child up for a profit. To the contrary, most of them would support a way to solve world hunger if there was one. Most of them would like it better if people were kind. Most of them wish that the spirit of Christmas could linger all year long as many of our holiday carols say.

The average person of every faith, the silent majority, the sleeping giant wants good things to happen on the earth but has been indoctrinated to believe that solutions are out of their hands and beyond their reach. Most of us, the good people, who love God and love our neighbor, would choose a better path for mankind if there was a better path to choose. All we have to do is define a better path to choose.

If we look at the bigger picture around the whole earth, rather than spend one bit of our energy fighting over the grey areas of ideologies. As long as we keep our focus on points of doctrine we will never keep the world from destroying itself. Let's instead look around the globe for the absolute worse evil being perpetrated on mankind today and apply our efforts to make a difference there.   Then move down the list to the second worst evil and so on.  That would be more than a debate.  That would take actual courage.  That would require actual integrity.  That would require our resources...maybe even our lives.  Let's all put our money where our debating mouth is and choose a better cause to support with our time and energy.

UNITED IN NON-RESISTANCE : Nothing unites an army better than a common and well-defined enemy.
We are useless to the fight against evil until we identify it and focus on it.  America was founded on the hope of creating the plan for "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness." Many of my fellow Americans have replaced that dream with "life, liberty and the pursuit of money."

I have found that if you get in the way of some people's ability to make money and or keep them from spending it all on themselves, they don't like you very much. They still don't understand that they have been blessed with the ability and strength to make large sums of money so that they can be the answer for those who have not been blessed with this skill set.  If we take our blessings and gobble up the profits we have lost sight of what the masters of taught.  Jesus taught "what you do for the least of my brothers and sisters, you do unto me." The reverse of that is sobering. "What you choose not to do for the least of my brothers and sisters, you choose to withhold from me." Read Matthew chapter 25.

To restore our faith in America we must gather and unite as humanitarians who will not tolerate poverty and inequality. No more can we continue to be a self-satisfying, self-focused people living a lifestyle that creates the mounting problems of poverty that require endless social programs. We must reach for the next level up from free enterprise to create a lifestyle based upon interdependence and cooperation. If we capitalists suppose ourselves to be successful while our "neighbors" in other neighborhoods or other countries go without, we have a goal that is far different than our Lord's, the One we say we trust.

We need better goals that include the well-being of every human on earth not just our own.  Those of us who take a pro-active attitude will see the wisdom in developing an interdependent lifestyle that will protect and unite us long before the need arises. We don't have to be driven from our homes before making the conscious choice to explore a better and more satisfying way of life.

Career and community is one in the same when choosing an interdependent lifestyle that exists to eradicate poverty and inequality for the members of the a 3DCommunity. The needs we have for food and shelter will be provided by the "sweat of our brow," a far more fulfilling method than "cash, check or credit card."

Ghandi stated that "Poverty is the cruelest form of violence."

He is pointing out that one man's poverty is a result of the inactivity of another. Allowing poverty to continue is a conscious choice we all make every day. The Pearl of Great Price agrees that the highest form of community is when people make sure that everyone has enough:

"and the Lord called His people Zion for they were of one heart and one mind (united) and dwelt in righteousness (where all men are free and cooperative) and there were no poor among them (they were humanitarians!)" (Moses 7:18)

We are a group of united humanitarians who seek to eliminate poverty through the building of cities where rich and poor work side by side to reach beyond the American dream of "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness," to "life, equality and cooperation."

4 And they came to ... a very beautiful and pleasant land, a land of pure water.
5 And they ... began to till the ground, and began to build buildings; yea, they were industrious, and did labor exceedingly.
6 And the people were desirous that Alma should be their king, for he was beloved by his people.
7 But he said unto them: ...it is not expedient (wise) that we should have a king; for thus saith the Lord: Ye shall not esteem one flesh above another, or one man shall not think himself above another; therefore I say unto you it is not expedient (wise) that ye should have a king.

(Book of Mormon | Mosiah 23)

In America we have been taught every day of our lives that we must take care of ourselves, reach for the brass ring and beat out "the other guy." We are shown by example that we must harden our hearts towards the needs of others, because there are too many to worry about. We are offered countless ways to remain preoccupied so that the cries of the suffering grow dimmer and dimmer. We may even be able to deceive ourselves to believe that the world is naturally getting better.

I believe and call out to anyone who will listen that we must change to a higher goal. We must change our belief to define true success in our careers and our lives to be measured by the contribution our lives have made towards eliminating the suffering of others.

We must learn to provide for not only our own needs or the needs of our loved ones, but for all of God's children. We must reject the notion that independence brings happiness. We must realize that the only true path to happiness is interdependence. We must break free from the materialistic chains of debt that render us powerless. We must reprogram our minds and prepare our hearts to be responsible for those around us. If we are to be a people prepared for the Zien, united utopia prophesied in scripture, we must learn to live together in harmony devoted to the well-being of our neighbor.

Happiness comes through fulfillment. Fulfillment comes from having a purpose to fulfill. Therefore happiness comes through finding your purpose and then spending your life's energy fulfilling that purpose. The American Dream is a lie whenever it teaches that true happiness is possible to enjoy while others around you suffer. A heart seared and hardened by overwhelming global poverty and suffering is incapable of true happiness, knowing that selfishness never brought anyone true happiness.

Only when we choose to care about strangers, to rise above our own needs and make plans to rescue others in need can our hearts beat with true happiness. No matter who you are, there is always someone in more need than you. Look around and ask God to give you eyes to see what He sees. Your heart will change . Remember Ebenezer Scrooge? It's not too late.

If you are wealthy enough to retire in comfort and style, would you be willing to share that comfort with many others if it were possible to do so? If by uniting with other humanitarians who are able to retire in comfort and style you might be able to do something great for those in need. I have a dream of building communities, based upon compassion and cooperation, to eradicate poverty for hundreds of people at a time.

If one retirement investment could do impact the lives of many others, would you do it? Building an experimental community with the express purpose of solving issues in all three dimensions: body, mind and spirit including poverty, inequality and human suffering all over the world is something we can do with the last years of our lives that could make a difference for generations to come and prepare our hearts for the new millennium that was prophesied.

There is a prophecy that says together we will build a new world.  The world will be at peace and there will be no more poverty or suffering:

1 AND I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

(New Testament | Revelation 21)

23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.

25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.

26 And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.

27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.

(New Testament | Revelation 21)

1 AND he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

(New Testament | Revelation 22)

Notice that in verse 24 the Revelation says that "the nations of them which are saved" shall bring honor to the city of God. This means to me that there will be nations that survive through all of the wars and chaos, economic collapse and earthquakes.

How is that possible when so much tribulation is coming all at once? I believe it will be the miraculous hand of God, not just protecting but leading us into preparations that will secure our survival. With cutting edge technology and old fashioned know how, we can create a community that will provide all of our needs as Babylon collapses.

In my humble opinion we must come away from the cities of Babylon and create a new way of living that doesn't rely on the infrastructure of the world. If we listen carefully to that still small voice inside, we will create a new infrastructure that will survive long after the collapse and will be what is in place to rebuild and recover.

15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

16 Then let them which be in Judea flee into the mountains:

(New Testament | Matthew 24)

Just as in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah we have to leave and never look back. If we plan carefully we can make a place for many to find refuge. This can be used as a model for new cities to be built. It starts with a gathering of humanitarians who want to make a difference.  It calls to us to "come out of Babylon" if we don't want to "receive of her plagues."  We may not fully understand the justice of God if we only focus on the patience of God.  There will be an end to the evil, if you believe in the prophecies of every religion.  There will be two things going on at the same time; the end of one kingdom and the beginning of another, the end of evil and the beginning of utopia.

4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.

6 Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.

7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.

8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.

9 And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,

10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.

11 And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:

12 The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble,

13 And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men.

14 And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all.

15 The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing,

16 And saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!

17 For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off,

18 And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city!

19 And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.

20 Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.

21 And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.

(New Testament | Revelation 18)

Most Bible scholars agree that Babylon is not a particular nation or location, but a mindset or system by which greedy men are made wealthy by the corruption and exploitation of others. In any case, Babylon is about to fall.

Which kingdom will you cling to? The one falling or the one rising? The former things will pass away. The Lord will make all things new by raising up ambassadors who will represent him on the earth and rise to eliminate human suffering and to wipe every tear from every eye.

4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
(New Testament | Revelation 21)

What former things will pass away? Heaven and earth. All corruption. Babylon cities that perpetuate crime and poverty. We hear talk of a rapture that will take true believers up off of the face of the earth, but the rest of the story is often left out.  He takes us up so that he can cleanse the earth by fire and renew the earth back to her original glory. Then he will bring his faithful followers back to the earth to reign with him for a thousand years for the Golden Age or "the millennium."

9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

(New Testament | Revelation 5)

6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

(New Testament | Revelation 20)

10 We believe in the literal gathering of Israel and in the restoration of the Ten Tribes; that Zion (the New Jerusalem) will be built upon the American continent; that Christ will reign personally upon the earth; and, that the earth will be renewed and receive its paradisiacal glory.

(Pearl of Great Price | Articles of Faith )

In America we have been taught that we are supposed to divide neighborhoods by income brackets. The rich live over here. The poor live over there. The starving live way over there where we can't see them, or it might spoil our apatite. What if we didn't receive that worldly doctrine as the right way to build a city?

If we had a choice, how many would intentionally choose to live in a lifestyle of humanitarianism that isn't the highest possible material attainment for your income bracket? What if, instead, we divided up what we have into life-sustaining portions for many more than ourselves and our loved ones? Not by force, through taxation and redistribution, but by generosity, charity and commitment to fulfill our purpose on the earth to wipe away every tear.

Our time on earth is a test. What will we do with what we have been given? Will we squander it? Will we invest it? Will we hoard it? Will we share it? Will we change the world with it? Will we usher in the New Millennium with it? Jesus is returning very soon. We all know that. What will he find us doing when he returns? Will we refuse to go with him because we don't want to leave all of our valuable stuff?

16 ¶ And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?
17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,
19 Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
20 The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?
21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.
23  Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.
24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
25 When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?
26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
(New Testament | Matthew 19)

It's not impossible for a rich man to give up his wealth, but it requires an intervention from God. It requires a commitment beyond what this young rich ruler had towards the kingdom of God. Jesus invited him to be one of the twelve apostles! He chose instead to be what he thought was the better choice and no one ever heard of him again. If he would have followed Jesus, he would have gone down in eternal history. His worldly ambitions pulled him towards a completely different goal. One that served his own needs instead of God's needs.

Yes, it is true that God needs us! He said we are his ambassadors. We speak for him. We stand for him. We go where he needs to go. We influence things to go the way he wants it to go on earth. We represent him. We stand by someone when He wants to stand by them. We visit people who He wants to uplift. We call people who He wants to exhort. We forgive people who need His forgiveness. When people hear us talk it is God talking to them. When people see our facial expressions they are God's intentions towards them. When people call out to God we arrive on the scene saying,  "What can I do to help?" We lay hands on the sick and they recover. We stand against injustice or corruption. We overturn the tables of the money changers. We speak with authority and take action without hesitation.

If people have an incorrect belief about who God is or what believers are like it is because we who have been entrusted with the exquisite privilege of representing Him have represented him incorrectly. If they are asking themselves, "where is God?" it is because we are not living the representation of God's love on this earth.

If people have run away from organized religion it is because we have not created the true community that God designed for his people. When will this change? When we drop our nets, as Peter, James and John did, instead of going on about our business as the rich young ruler did. Why was the rich man sorrowful? Because he loved his riches more than he loved God, and this alarming fact just became perfectly clear to him.

What a frightening thought! I am not greedy! I am not selfish! I am a child of God! I serve him with all of my heart, might, mind and strength! I tithe 10% of my income. I keep the 10 commandments. I don't cuss. I don't watch R rated movies. I am polite and well mannered. I read my scriptures. I love God!

That's wonderful, young rich man. That's excellent. You are God's elect. You stand out above the rest. But don't you dare ask what this rich young ruler asked: "what lack I yet?" because we know what Jesus' answer is. If you want your commitment to God to be complete," "go and sell all that thou hast, and give it to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me."

The church that Jesus set up while he was on the earth gathered all they had and gave it to those in need. They shared and lived with "all things in common."

32 And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.
33 And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.
34 Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold,
35 And laid them down at the apostles' feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need.
(New Testament | Acts 4)

Life on earth doesn't work unless the church functions as it should, with all things in common and no poor among us. If America is "one nation under God" it is in fact God's church, but this great big church is not functioning as it should.

Cities today are not designed with the goal in mind of eliminating human suffering. Cities of today have a completely different goal in mind. Men build empires unto their own image and pocket the gain. The cities of today will and must be "done away with" all over the world. They will not remain standing. Jesus told his disciples that he is coming to cleanse the earth of these self-centered cities that are designed to show the world who has the ability to make money and who doesn't.  He we believe he is an enlightened master, do we believe what he said?

In reality, the cities that survive into the millennium of God will be designed with the exact opposite goal in mind. He will raise up world leaders who will make it impossible to tell who has money and who doesn't. These benevolent leaders will put the needs of others before their own. These leaders are being schooled and chosen even now in the quiet closets of their own hearts.  Economics will give way to equanomics, exchanging energy instead of currency.  Everyone has the same amount of time and energy in a day and are therefore equal brothers and sisters without hierarchy.

Christ promised his disciples that when he returns, he will put leaders into place to "rule and reign with him." Where are these leaders now? Only God knows, because they are willing to live anonymous lives in "perfect" submission to God. These are the men he can trust in leadership who will ensure that every tear is wiped from every eye and there will be no more pain or suffering anywhere on the earth.

It won't be you, or me, or anyone else that goes about their business with their eyes closed to the suffering of others. It will be those you would never suspect;  the fishermen who are willing to drop their nets the moment their God requests it of them.
